When The Knot is the better fit
If you are in the US and still looking for vendors, The Knot's marketplace puts a very large number of them in one place. Bridewell doesn't list or recommend vendors; you add the ones you choose, with their quotes, contracts and payments.
When Bridewell is the better fit
- Plan together: one wedding shared with your partner, family and planner, with roles section by section.
- A private budget: amounts hidden from anyone you choose, enforced on the server.
- RSVP links per household: guests reply without an account; answers fill in your guest list.
- A seating chart that arranges itself: households stay together, “keep apart” is never broken.
- No vendor marketplace and no ads: the plan is the product.
If you plan outside the US, or simply want a plan without vendor listings, a planner that is only a planner may suit you better.
Moving your plan over
Export your guests as a spreadsheet, save it as CSV and import it into Bridewell. Add your booked vendors under Vendors, and your budget lines start from Bridewell's suggested split.
